Shining Armor is Twilight Sparkle's older brother and is married to Princess Cadance. He originally lived in Ponyville, but moved to Canterlot in the Canterlot Wedding update, and lives with Cadance in Shining Armor's House. With the Crystal Empire update, they became parents to Flurry Heart. When Shining Armor travels to the Crystal Empire, he lives with his daughter and wife (and others) in the Crystal Castle.
He is voiced by Andrew Francis (not credited), and when tapped, says "Hey, Twily!" in one of two tones. He has a similar body appearance as Fancypants.
Shining Armor was one of the characters available in the beta version of My Little Pony presented at My Little Pony Project 2012 New York, at a cost of 350 
.
Cost
Shining Armor costs 195 (previously 650 ) and unlocks at level 21. He can also be won in the Equestria Girls dancing game.
