    • Well I'm not into MLP Gameloft anymore due to its developer services. My save file still remains in my phone and it's still unaffected yet.

      Though my phone's resolution and hardware makes it difficult to play.

    • That sucks; it was awesome having someone else here who was willing and able to work with the files to get information and images for the wiki (and, what's more, who was able to dedicate the time to do so!). I do hope you'll continue to at least poke your head in here from time to time, but if not, maybe I'll see you occasionally on the MLP wiki instead. =)

    • Did you look around on the Seesaa Wiki any beyond the Characters2 page? The Characters page has an "Exp Rank" column that I'm curious where in the files it comes from. Google Translate's translation of the description (click the "+" button next to "Exp Rank" above the table) shows a formula of some kind, but the translation is too mangled for me to trust anything about it without consulting with a human translator first.

  • Hey Teratorn, do you know how to interpret the shard rates to see how often a given shard should drop (that is, how to derive a percentage drop chance/rate)? I would've added the rates myself quite a while back, but didn't want to until I'd gotten that figured out, since I think percentage chances would be more useful to readers than the raw rates.

      Interestingly, I just tried tapping on my Observatory, and I gained five shards (two loyalty, one each of magic, kindness, and honesty). Yet the page currently says there is a maximum of three shards. I have three ponies working in the observatory, and producing telescopes, if that helps.

  • Hey Teratorn, d'you think you could start uploading the winter versions of buildings and decor at some point, too? We might as well include those versions of the items as well as the "normal" versions.

    Also, if you know where to find the obstacle images, could you start uploading those? It'd be nice to start replacing the screenshots on Obstacles. Again, if you could get both the "normal" and winter versions, that'd be awesome. Thanks! =D

  • Hey, I know I asked this already, but you never answered. Do you have a Skype profile, and if so, would you want to send me a contact request? I'm pretty punctual about answering Skype messages, and I'd be more comfortable discussing certain things off-wiki (especially file manipulation).

  • Seeing as you pulled raw data from the game files to fill out the shard spawn distance info for the Crystal Mine game, would you also be able to get some other stuff we need? The big one right now would be getting or confirming the levels and prerequisite quest info for the Canterlot and minigame quests (and, if they're still in the game data between events, the seasonal quests, too) - I've gotten this info for the Ponyville quests because the right people cared enough about it when the game was released to pull this data from the game files and put it on a Google Docs spreadsheet, but it seems no one cared enough any more by the time the Canterlot update hit. Though speaking of the Ponyville quests, it would be good to also confirm that none of that information has changed at all, and to see if any of the disabled quests have since been removed or anything (or any more disabled quests have been added).

    After that, could you post the data determining shard drop rates for shops? I've been wanting to get a handle on how that works for some time now so I could add proper support for it to {{Infoshop}}, so we can finally provide hard numbers/percentages instead of vague and potentially-incorrect "this shard spawns most frequently" hand-waving.

  • Hey Teratorn, while I appreciate that you're trying to reduce the total number of edits done to pages, I would prefer you didn't add or change image names in infoboxes when the images themselves haven't been uploaded or renamed yet. In the case of images that need replaced or renamed, it makes it a bit harder to get to the original image, and in all cases it could encourage someone to upload a junk image, which I'd prefer to avoid.

    Sorry, and thanks for all your help! (Seriously, thanks a ton, the way I'm playing the game, it would've taken me months or more to gather all the info you've added in just the past few days! XD )

    • Are the hacks you're using just the "free gems/hearts/bits" ones from the Reddit thread that seems like it pops up everywhere when you're looking for info about the game?

    • The hacks I used are the 50 daily Gems (For stabilizing my gameplay) and 100 Gem/Heart in Balloon Pop (For wiki purposes) link.

      For bits, I can just farm them.

  • Have any of the houses you've added details for so far had a build reward? All of them I've seen while I've been paying attention, you've filled in "N/A" for. If it looks like none of them will, I can remove the parameter from {{Infohouse}}, just as I did for the level and cost parameters.

    • Okay, flipping through the houses as they are listed in {{Houses}}, I immediately see that the Cutie Mark Crusaders Clubhouse does have a build reward (and that we're still missing most of the information for quite a few houses =C ). I'll keep flipping through to see if any of the others we have the info for have a reward.

    • Humm... Octavia's House also has a reward, and Unicorn Guard's House lists the reward as 0 (which we should probably do for the others instead of "N/A"). And we don't have nearly as many rewards listed as I thought we did. =X

    • I noticed the build rewards for some houses in Canterlot are none (Or maybe a gameplay bug, not sure). Just don't remove the Build Reward in the InfoHouse template.

      Ponyville's house build rewards are fine.

  • The only reason I added levels and costs for houses was because I couldn't remember if they had separate requirements from any of their residents. If not, I can simply remove the parameters from the infobox.

      And it's nice if you remove the Level and Cost parts since houses with multiple residents is confusing. If they are separate templates from the shops.

    • Okay, I'll get them removed from the infobox in a minute; from now on, you can remove the "level" and "cost" lines from the infobox code on house pages whenever you edit them. =)
