I can't make a new page while on the phone, but you could start it and help spread the word.
I've already added two "in-development" pics to this wiki, one with Svengallop on a unused pink desk where he would originally do his job, and a older version of the Big-Apple Stage . The images are already on the respective pages.
I'm fairly certain all three of those areas should have unlocked by the time you hit level 43. It's possible that the areas haven't been added to the Windows version, though; I don't have that version and so can't check. Beyond that, I'm afraid I really can't help you; you should try contacting Gameloft's customer support.
So I've noticed that some pages only have "cool" as the description, so I'm editing them to have alittle bit of actual info. So i edited the page Violet Crystal Foal to make it look better. (I didn't added infoboxes because I have no idea of how to edit those).
Yeah, that's fine (and definitely a lot better than the page just saying "cool" or similar). The characters navbox should have all the characters listed in it, so you can check it if you need to find out where a given character lives (in the case of the violet crystal foal, the navbox says they live in the Crystal Empire, which makes sense).
I've thought about including colors and other basic info on characters in the infobox before, but haven't ever done anything about it. If we include this type of information, though, I think most of it should be limited to the infobox rather than in the prose (color information in particular). At the same time, though, we have to be careful about how much we duplicate the main MLP wiki; our job here, after all, is to document the game, not to render the main wiki obsolete.
I think I've seen that before... is that the highest resolution available? If so, I'm not sure how useful it will be. It's also not going to be useful in that form; each character would need their model renders split from the rest.
Yeah, I think that'll do for cases where we don't already have higher-resolution (and not significantly worse quality) images, though it'll still require cropping each character's renders out of the overall image, something way too tedious for me to be interested in it at my present level of editorial activity here. There si a chance the artist has the renders saved to separate files on their end, though, which would mean all that's needed is for someone to ask. If that doesn't pan out, though, then whoever decides to cut up the big images should keep in mind that we don't want the green outlines around some of the characters (what do the outlines signify, anyways?).
Is this message from Gameloft a foreign language?! I was trying to save my edit, and got this strange pop up message! I had two pages open in Edit, so once I closed the other one, this one was able to save without error.
According to Google Translate, it's in Finnish, and translates roughly to "Error saving the data to the server". I don't think I've ever had an error quite like that, and I can't say if it was actually related to you editing two pages at the same time, but the message being in a different language from the one your preferences are set to is something that happens sometimes; it usually has to do with a staff member with their own language set to the one in question doing something on the wiki, and the language setting gets "stuck" somehow. Most of the times I've seen it happen, though, it was Polish; I wasn't aware there were any Finnish staff members.
No, I mean paid employees of Wikia, the company which hosts this wiki, as well as all the other wikis on the wikia.com domain. There are also three or so global volunteer usergroups who have rights that can sometimes cause this to happen, though they shouldn't be grouped under the term "staff". I don't think that this can be caused just by editing a page, either; I'm pretty sure it can only happen when performing certain actions that are restricted to staff or those volunteer usergroups.
So interesting. Thanks for sharing the background stuff on things like this. It is entirely possible that I "fat-fingered" some keys by accident without realizing it, while in the process of saving my edits. Who knows?! :)
Is there any way that i can become an admin? There has been a guy by the name of Alexandria(put what ever new account name here) ruining this wiki by deleting stuff on pages and making random useless pages. This guy has to be banned as soon as he pops up because several users has came here just to keep reverting his edits because he keeps destroying the wiki(and he also vandalizes other wikis as well). I want to help to protect this wiki so is there any possible way that i can become an admin?
Sure, I've seen some of your edits and they look pretty good. Sorry I haven't noticed that guy and helped out, though. Can you link to a few of his accounts' contributions pages? I should be able to get something done about him globally, depending on exactly how he's been going about his vandalism.
Since both of those accounts have been globally blocked already, there's nothing else to be done with them. If he registers new accounts and you stumble across them, though, please do link them here or on my wall and I'll see about getting them globally blocked as well (you can also list them on the VSTF wiki for the VSTF to handle them directly).
